This 5-week program is for the dedicated athlete looking to improve their aerobic capacity in the pool while strengthening the necessary muscle groups in the gym. Three days of swimming, one day of lifting, two days of active recovery, one day of complete rest. While it is geared towards intermediate to advanced individuals, it can be scaled for beginners who have some knowledge of rest times and rates of perceived exertion. Adherence to the program while maintaining proper nutrition and sleep are highly recommended for best results.
